Yes, these are some of the adjectives I am using to describe the service and workmanship we received from everyone at P & I!
Our dining chairs in the motorhome had the fabric I could not stand, but was never able to find an upholsterer that would understand what we were looking for. I found P & I online – we visited the office without an appointment to see how we were treated. We explained that we needed design advice and they offered assistance and we scheduled the appointment with Joe. We couldn’t be happier with the design – workmanship – and great people to work with!! We presented a tight delivery and they managed to finish the project a day earlier than expected! We even added a special request to have the entry door to the motorhome covered in the leather fabric – Joe, again exceeded our expectations! One of the factors that allowed us to decide to work with them is that they “think outside the box” – we know that no one else will have dining chairs or an entry door like ours. We are very thankful to have met with them and have already scheduled a few more projects for the motorhome to challenge them with !!!”

“Thirteen years ago I purchased my first family boat. A 20-foot Reinell that gave my family and me countless hours of boating pleasure. Over the years, both hot desert weather and family use took its toll on the seats and carpeting. I made an appt with Rich, the manager of Pumps International, and was given a very reasonable estimate to replace the carpeting, replace some cracked vinyl and fabricate a snap-on cover. The following week’s work began. My boat was kept inside a warehouse safe and sound – never left outside. When I picked up the boat I was amazed how well they matched the stock vinyl and the carpeting felt and looked even better than the original. I was shown how the new cover was designed and given a special “snap” tool to use. The stitch work was incredible which included special abrasion points sewn into the material to prevent unnecessary wear and two poles to prevent rain from pudding on the cover. This cover looks like it will last many seasons. Every step of the process was friendly, professional, and honest. The employees knew my name and made me feel important. I highly recommend Pumps International to anyone looking for quality workmanship, reasonable prices, and good honest folks.”

“Committing to getting your boat’s upholstery done is a scary deal…you never really know how it’s going to turn out, and you’re pretty much stuck with it when it’s done. The folks over at Pumps International Marine & Auto Upholstery were recommended by our local West Marine guys, so that took some of the guesswork out of it. And they were really easy to work with; they made us feel like it was going to work out great. And it did! I took the family to pick her up today and we were nothing but smiles! They did a great job, used the very best marine-grade materials, and really took care of our baby while the job was being done. Didn’t take too long, either, and they kept me updated via email. We couldn’t be happier sitting on our boat. The new screens that we purchased from Ralph are incredible. “He nailed it” comes to mind. We had another company try to create a living area in the back of our boat. It was ok, but we were never really happy. Ralph sent Rich to meet me on the boat to discuss our needs. As a boater Rich understands what we are looking for and how to make it even better. It would have been easier to start from scratch, but that would have sent the cost thru the roof. They were able to fix what we had and create a better than factory-custom look.
Ralph and Rich exceeded our expectations and earned our business.

I am so pleased with the job your staff did on my custom fit boat cover, and I strongly urge others to use PI Upholstery! Rich carefully listened to my requests for the cover to wrap the sides of my boat for added protection, eye loops for straps to the frame, added reinforcement on high-stress points in the front and back, and velcro openings for the wakeboarding tower. Your guys went above and beyond what I was expecting with the velcro pockets for the mooring cleats as well as how snugly the cover wraps the boat! Genuine workmanship! I really like how there is no excess material for the wind to catch, and the added fabric detail around the ski pylon is a nice custom touch! Aside from the cover itself, it was a pleasure dealing with you and Rich for the payment transaction. I like especially how you have an open-door policy regarding if anything happens to the cover in the coming years, I can come back to PI to discuss a proper resolution. Thank you again, I will be sending my friends and acquaintances your way for upholstery and canvas work!
